GMA did a show on the dangers of the diet The show aired on Sunday morning as part of their consumers alert series and here is a link for anybody that missed it.
They discussed the very low calorie aspect of the plan and even had a doctor on their to refute the claims by Kimkins.com spokesperson that hair loss was a normal part of weight loss and a small price to pay for losing weight.
I for one hope they do a more in depth follow up piece to warm more folk about this dangerous VLCD.
Thanks for posting about Kimkins on Good Morning America. I agree with you – I wish they’d devoted more time to go deeper. There’s a lot more footage they didn’t use, so maybe it will turn up on 20/20 or something soon.
